What is a Sofpool
Sofpool does not require air to hold its shape. The air ring is designed to add another dimension of fun to your Sofpool. Because if its unique patented design and the use of incredibly strong and durable material, Sofpool offers the only 20 Year Transferable Limited Warranty.

How durable is a Sofpool?
Sofpool is constructed of a 64mil reinforced vinyl with a multi-directional raylon weave (this is the same material found in racing and NASCAR type tires).

How do I install my new Sofpool?
Installation / Directions

Your Sofpool's patented design makes installation simple, quick and easy. One person can install a Sofpool in about one hour.
What you need to install your new Sofpool:
A level area of compacted ground
A regular and philips screwdriver
A garden hose
1. Sofpool Base
Select a level area of compacted ground. Clear all debris (rocks, etc.) If you choose, at this time you may lay down sand, a pool pad, or indoor/outdoor carpet as padding for the bottom of your Sofpool. (This is optional, but is recommended for premium installation.)
2. Unpacking and Placement
Remove your pool from its storage bag and unfold it on the area you have selected. Take care to place the pool so that the pump, intake, outlets, and ladder fastening pads are located where you want them.

3. Air Tube
Install the air tube underneath the white top rail of your pool. For best results, inflate the air tube approximately 1/3 full of air using the pump supplied. This will allow you to adjust the air tube as the pool fills with water. (After you the fill pool with water on step #8, you may finish filling the air tube while it is in place. This will give your pool a nice sturdy top rail.
4. Ladder
Assemble your ladder and fasten the bottom step to the two Velcro straps located on the pool floor.
5. Bulkhead Fittings
Install the two water through bulkhead fittings into the pool, and make sure the nut (female) portion of the fitting is on the outside of the pool wall along with the white washer. The male portion is on the inside wall of the pool.
6. Remove Wrinkles
Next, remove any wrinkles that may be in the pool floor. It may be helpful to add about one inch of water to the pool prior wrinkle removal. The weight of the water helps remove the wrinkles. Simply pull on the white dots, which are located on the lower portion of the pool seams.
7. Pump, Filter, and Skimmer
Now install the pool plumbing: "Pump & Filter" and the elephant skimmer.
8. Add Water
You are now ready to start filling your pool with water. Just add water and the pool builds itself.

What safety precautions should I take with my new Sofpool?
Sofpool Safety

Your new Sofpool is built with your family's safety in mind. Here are some of the standard safety features that are included with every Sofpool.
1. There are no hard rails which can get hot or become a hazard for children.

2. The soft sides allow for greater safety and the pool can easily be taken down when not in use.

3. The ladder has removable steps for added safety.

4. Durable covers are also available.

What do I do with my Sofpool during Winter?
Winter Care for your Sofpool

Unlike traditional old style above ground pools with frames, your Sofpool can be easily emptied and stored away for the winter in the included bag. Your Sofpool is designed to be drained and stored in a safe place during the winter. However, many people choose to leave their pool up year round. In areas where freezing occurs, there is risk of ice damage. Ice damage is not covered under the terms of the warranty. It is advisable to consult your dealer to get as much information as possible before deciding whether or not to leave your pool up in severe winter conditions.
Directions
1. Clean pool first and make sure that the air ring is fully inflated.

2. Purchase 2 plastic 1 1/2 inch plugs from your pool dealer. Place these in the ports when the pump is removed.

3. Remove skimmer assembly.

4. Remove fountain or anything attached inside the bulkhead fittings.

5. Install plastic plugs with rubber O ring (these can be purchased at the pool dealer as well), hand tighten on inside of pool.

6. Remove Ladder.

7. Add appropriate winter chemicals (consult local dealer as different regions vary greatly).

8. Cover pool with the Sofpool cover and tighten draw string.

9. Drain pump/filter assembly, remove filter, detach motor and pump from the filter housing by unscrewing lock nut fitting between pump and filter units. Fill pool to original water level when finished.

10. Bring pump and filter parts indoors and store in dry area, preferably heated.

(Note: Partially draining water from pool is not recommended.)
